Created in the same Parisian neighborhood as his namesake, French producer Montmartre’s remix career includes tracks for London Grammar and The Kooks. He also reworked Bob Marley’s “Is This Love,” streamed over 120 million times. Montmartre’s latest, a sun-filled adaptation of Tim Ayre’s “Mexican Holiday,” shows depth and versatility.

I wanted to bring my punchy and sunny sound to the voice of Tim Ayre with an electro pop vision of the track that brings back the summer. It gives a cocktail of freshness that makes us relive those good times by the pool and sway on this beat that recalls those vacations.

It’s no wonder his work on “Aller-retour” by Bon Entendeur received gold status in France. Matching Kitsuné Musique’s breezy vibes, the track is out on the label’s SoundCloud. Feel the warmth of the Mediterranean below.
